Well Forget Olivers! I went down with an open mind; the place looks nice enough. I was told my dogs would not be allowed to sleep in their own crate in a kennel together which I was going to bring. According to the employee it’s a liability. Please explain to me what the liability is of your dogs who sleep together every single night and cuddle, are not allowed to in a strange place, causing high anxiety. Let’s take two little dogs that love nothing more than cuddling, bring them to a strange environment and then separate them.. Ridiculous. This is not what I would call a caring environment by any stretch of the imagination. Ask the owner to sign a waiver if you feel there’s a liability but again I ask what is that liability?
The owner of this dog daycare (Brian Cooley) worked for Paw Pals prior to opening this place. I was also an employee at Paw Pals during his time there. He was fired for hitting a boxer puppy in the face with a 2x4 piece of wood because the puppy was annoying him out in the yard. He then opened his own dog daycare a few months later. Please don't trust him with your precious babies.
Oliver's Daycare and Boarding is a great place for our dog Nash, who loves to run around with the other dogs and then comes home exhausted at night. I like the open atmosphere and that all the dogs sleep in the same space. The staff is very attentive and takes good care of our dog when we are out of town. Highly recommend Oliver's!
Great place for the dog to PLAY, or stay the night. He loves it here and the staff is great.
No stars here. (I can't post without giving a star, but the reality is, they don't deserve any.) My husband and I stopped by on Saturday, April 16 to check out their boarding facility, as we expect to have to board our three dogs shortly. We were told that their policy does not allow for anyone to go in "the back," but we could hear about it. Really? Our dogs are family members -- we can't see where they are going to be housed?? Ridiculous! We walked out.
